ADVICE OF 2019 ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING TRMCC

The National Executive of the Triumph Riders Motorcycle Club of New Zealand is pleased to advise the 2019 AGM is to be held on Saturday 30 March 2019 at the Kaiaua Bowling Club, Lipscombe Road, Kaiaua, at 9 am.

Breakfast is available beforehand at this venue for those who have registered and pre-paid for this meal (sorry we cannot cater to casuals).

Attendance at this meeting is open to current financial members and current financial associate members only.

The National Executive is calling for remits to be voted on at the AGM and welcomes nominations for the election of National Officers.

These are open until 5 pm on Friday 01 March 2019 and will not be accepted after this date.

All remits and nominations can only be made by a current full financial member and seconded by a current full financial member and emailed to the National Secretary, This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or posted to PO BOX 5066 Rotorua West 3044. While this should not deter others from standing, the current National Executive have indicated their willingness to serve another term, and as the constitution allows, do not require a nomination.

Positions: National President; Vice President (South Island); Vice President (North Island); National Secretary; National Treasurer; National Membership Officer; National Regalia Officer; National Webmaster.

A proxy voting form for the election of officers for those not able to attend the AGM is available upon request. Forms for nominations and remits are available here

As per the club’s constitution, voting on remits can only be made at the AGM (no proxies are allowed) and by a show of hands.

A copy of the club’s constitution is available for download on the club’s website. This includes job descriptions for all national office holders.

Please Note: Immediately following the AGM, a Dice Run will be held (with lunch for those who have registered & paid) and which is open to partners and family also. There is no charge for this and there are prizes (no cash) for highest and lowest throws.
