Notification of 2018 AGM of the Triumph Riders Motorcycle Club of New Zealand Incorporated (TRMCC)

Formal Notice is hereby given that the 2018 AGM of the Triumph Riders Motorcycle Club of New Zealand Incorporated (TRMCC) will be held in Kaikoura at the Top Ten Holiday Park, 34 Beach Road, Kaikoura, at 9am on Saturday 03 February 2018. Only current financial members are eligible to attend the actual AGM meeting itself, although partners are welcome at other related events over the weekend.

Accordingly, the Club is calling for nominations for all office positions on the National Executive and for any remits for members to discuss and vote on at the AGM itself.

Please note: Nominations for office and submission of remits close at midnight 19 January 2018. There will be no extension.
Nominations may only be made by full and current financial members and must be seconded by a full and current financial member only. Remits may be submitted by any current full financial member or chapter alike and must be
seconded by a full, current financial member.

The positions for which all full and current financial members may stand or make nominations are:
National President
Vice President, South Island
Vice President, North Island
National Secretary
National Treasurer
National Membership Officer
National Regalia Officer
National Webmaster

Under the Club's constitution, existing office holders may stand again for another term of office without the need for a nomination and simply by a notice by them to the National Secretary that they wish to stand for another term of office.

Voting procedures: As per the changes to the constitution by the National Committee at its meeting in Palmerston North on 16 September 2017, the voting procedures for the AGM shall be as follows:
The voting procedure at the AGM for National Officers must be made at the AGM in person by full and current financial members only (by a show of hands); except for Proxy Votes that are completed on the official Proxy Voting
Form (which will be available from the website after nominations close for office holders and remits), to be given to the Chapter President, or emailed or posted to the Returning Officer (who for this purpose is the National Secretary) at

The voting procedure at the AGM for remits must be made at the AGM in person by full and current financial members (by a show of hands) after discussion of that remit.

Note: Associate Members do not have voting rights at the AGM.
